When They Come Calling now on Audible

The audiobook edition of When They Come Calling is now available on Audible (which includes Amazon and iTunes). If you know any audiobook lovers, please share this with them. Audible members can use their monthly credit to purchase the book, and new members can get the book for free by enrolling in a free trial. Backers can still get the audiobook as a BackerKit add-on, or they can take advantage of the Audible offer. We'd really love to get some reviews on Audible - your reviews are critical to attracting attention and encouraging sales. If this audio title is successful, we'll be able to produce When They Come True in an audio edition as well.

New Campaign! Shkode trilogy: Unconventional Fantasy

Atthis Arts just launched a new project by owner, mom, engineer, and author E.D.E. Bell. It's the finale of her Shkode trilogy featuring unconventional fantasy fiction. Through the campaign, you can get the whole trilogy for $15. The campaign has all the details, including a description of the series, reviews of the first two books, and a first peek at what we consider a totally bad ass cover illustration - wait until the end of the video! We hope you'll check it out, and help us spread the word. Bell's writing is inclusive, thought-provoking, and really something different.

You should have received an email with a link to your survey on BackerKit. Note - you will not see this as a Kickstarter notification; it is an email that will take you to BackerKit.

If your pledge includes copies of When They Come Calling (Book One in the series), we need your information now to deliver these early rewards. E-book copies of this book can be downloaded right away (click "Get Your Digital Downloads" from your survey confirmation page).

Through your BackerKit survey, you will also be able to select/order any add-ons, including the audio-book edition of When They Come Calling which we expect to be available around the first of the year. (The audiobook is already included for backers at the hardcover and higher pledge levels.)

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this Kickstarter a success.

For those backers receiving the first book in the series, we'll be getting early surveys out as soon as Kickstarter processes the pledges. We will be using Backerkit to manage our Kickstarter rewards, where you will be able to update your shipping address, download e-book files, and manage your add-ons all in one place. 

We hope you enjoy (or already have enjoyed) When They Come Calling—and we're looking forward to producing the sequel thanks to you.

Final Week Update & Audio-book News

As we enter the final week of the campaign, we're looking good to reach our minimum goal, but we aren't there yet! So please share this project on social media (click the share buttons below the main video).  

We were really excited about producing Anna's Nightmare titles as audio-books, but the stretch goal is looking more out of reach as we close in on the end of the campaign. So . . . we've been working on a backup plan. 

Audio-book edition of When They Come Calling: We reached an agreement with the talented Elizabeth Saydah to provide the voice for When Come Calling audio-book edition (Liz provided the voice in the Kickstarter videos). This agreement will allow us to produce the first book in the series without additional Kickstarter funding. We expect the audio-book to be completed before the end of the year. It will be available through Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. Prior to the public release, we want to make the audio-book available to our backers. 

So what does this mean to our backers:

• The audio-book will be available as an add-on option to backers at the e-book, paperback, and paperback bundle levels. The cost will be $10 (less than the expected retail price). Just add $10 to your pledge and we'll get the details in the post-campaign survey. Please note that this is for the first book (When They Come Calling), not the sequel.
• Backers at the Hardcover and higher levels will get the audio-book included as part of their reward without any increase to their pledge. If you upgrade to this level before the campaign ends, you will receive the audio-book at not extra cost as well. 
• When They Come True audio-book will remain a stretch goal. If we happen to reach this goal, it will be produced and made available to backers as the orginal stretch goal. If not—we'll need to rely on sales of the first audio-book to enable producing the sequel as an audio-book.

And finally, a quick thanks to those who checked out the two projects we mentioned in our last update. Queer Ghost Hunters successfully funded (campaign is over but you can still back them on them directly on their site). Follow the Leader is up to 72% with just over a week to go. They just did a livestream Meet and Greet that you can watch on their campaign page.
